Dr. Amish Naik was born in Queens, New York in 1976. Along with his family, he moved to Atlanta, GA in 1989 where he went to Dunwoody High School. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Biology from Georgia State University in 1998.
After working for Lucent Technologies as a financial analyst for five years, Dr. Naik decided to obtain his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in 2008. As chief resident, he then completed a 2 year General Practice Residency program at MCG which focused on the surgical aspects of dental care including the placement of dental implants, intravenous conscious sedation, surgical extractions, and other surgical treatments.
Dr. Naik also serves part-time as a clinical instructor for the General Practice Residency at Georgia Health Sciences University School of Dental Medicine. He has achieved his fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, is an active member of both the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association, and is currently pursuing his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Naik is married to Bindi with two daughters, Asha and Mila, and resides in Decatur. Dr. Naik’s interests include golf, hiking, exercise, travel, movies, and reading.
