Invisalign

Your smile transformation can start today! Vassey Dental Partners guides each patient in their journey to better aligned teeth whether through traditional braces or Invisalign®️. Your dentist at Vassey Dental Partners can assess your teeth and refer you to a professional orthodontist to start your Invisalign®️ process.

Invisalign®️ can be a suitable choice for teens and adults with mild to moderate orthodontic concerns, such as crowded teeth, crooked teeth, gaps, underbite, overbite, or crossbite.

The Benefits of Invisalign®️

  • Experience Improved Comfort — Invisalign®️ enables patients to improve their alignment and correct dental issues without uncomfortable metal wires and brackets. The restoration uses custom fit dental retainers held by virtually invisible, tiny attachments made from composite resin material affixed directly to the teeth. After getting used to the retainers, patients can forget they are even wearing the retainers because they feel so natural.
  • Transform Teeth Subtly — Metal braces are obvious on a patient’s teeth, even when selecting clear rubber bands. Invisalign®️ is the most popular clear braces system in the United States mainly because patients prefer to not sacrifice their smile during the transformation process. With Invisalign®️, patients can keep smiling throughout the restoration process without showing a mouth full of metal, which is especially appealing to many adult patients.
  • Enjoy Ease of Cleaning — Traditional metal braces can be difficult to clean around because of the wires and brackets. Invisalign®️ retainers are easily removed for eating and cleaning. The tiny attachments are easily cleaned around if food gets caught. The Invisalign®️ system expects patients will wear the retainers 22 hours per day, so the retainers should only be taken out for eating, drinking, and cleaning. Invisalign®️ retainers can be left in while drinking plain water though.

The Invisalign®️ Process

Your dentist at Vassey Dental Partners will help you start the journey through assessing your teeth and providing information about Invisalign®️. Afterwards, you will be referred to a local orthodontist to start your Invisalign®️ treatment. Impressions of your teeth are taken to create your Invisalign®️ aligners. Invisalign®️ retainers are made from soft plastic that will mold to your teeth for optimal comfort. Each retainer is typically worn for 2 weeks before changing to the next one. The length of your treatment will depend upon your specific dental needs.
